Teamwork is an Essential Writer Tool by Diana Flegal

 

Yesterday I had the joy of being in Hartline’s main office here in Pittsburgh, PA, and worked alongside Joyce Hart, Jim Hart, and Elizabeth Kim.

I am so grateful to be on a team like Hartline, not out on my own doing what I do.

As literary agents, keeping up with all of the many changes in publishing, knowing where a particular editor has moved, and what each particular publisher is looking for is daunting. It is not possible for each agent to attend every conference, or meet with every editor face to face. Sharing this vital information amongst us is so valuable.

Joyce leads our team with a focused godly vision. She prays for each one of us daily; for our success and that we would maintain a godly perspective.

I’ve never been a fan of individual awards because football is such a team sport. There’s so many things that goes into making plays. It’s about teammates trusting one another and working together. Troy Polamalu/Former Pittsburgh Steeler 

Yep, we are blessed to be working at Hartline. I am so grateful for our team. My life is the richer for knowing Joyce, Jim, Elizabeth, Andy, Linda, and Cyle.
