A Little Hope by Diana Flegal

It’s over the hump day. With weeks of heartrending news shots of dying children and war torn Syria, and Christian publishing news continuing to challenge us all, I thought it might be good to remind us all we are not without Hope.

I picked up a copy of Mercy Me’s new CD LIFER exclusively on sale at Cracker Barrel’s across the country.

Wow, lifted me up from the first lines of the cover song, Lifer.

The bible puts it like this in Jeremiah 29:11:

We are promised a future and a hope. That’s good news.

And in 1 John 3:2

“Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.”

You are not yet the writer you will become. The mother, father, sister, brother, agent, or friend you will yet be.

Make your election sure. Practice your craft, and trust in God to carry you further than you had thought possible.

After all, we are not without hope.
