A First Page That Pops…Volume Two by Linda S. Glaz

In the past, I’ve discussed the importance of a strong first page. It’s key to keeping an agent and/or editor reading. So what is the second reason that the first page has to POP!

Now that Amazon offers the reader the chance to read pages (until bored), how long do you suppose you’ll keep the readers going if your first page(s) don’t amaze and astound the reader? You want them to continue all the way to the end! It’s the only way you’re going to earn any money for your book.

So…is the first page important, or not?
