Help for the Nonfiction Writer by Diana Flegal

In our writing community at large there is a great fiction writer frenzy  going on called Nanowrimo.

Since so many posts and discussions are mentioning this, I thought today we would give a nod to our nonfiction writers.

Blogger and Editorial Director at Baker Books at Baker Publishing Group, Chad Allen, offers many tidbits of advice for writers via his blog. I recommend all of my clients read it.

In a post earlier this year on MEDIUM, Chad suggested writer’s engage their readers by asking them what their particular needs are related to their current struggles.

This is a great suggestion and definitely helps you further target the ‘felt need’ that all publishers ask you to define in your proposal submission.

As a nonfiction writer, what are you struggling with you would like us to address on this blog?

Let us know, and we will do our best to answer your questions, or get the answers for you.
